Since the 26th of April 2006, Acerde has run through a long way! Firstly specialized in chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of materials as Tungsten, Aluminum Nitride and Silicon Carbide, Acerde has gradually focused on X-ray target manufacturing, which is the main component of X-ray tubes used in medical devices. Acerde is now a recognized player in this field of activity and offers innovative solutions as light rotating X-ray targets with graphite or carbon composite, and target reclaiming. In addition to its initial skills in CVD, Acerde has integrated new skills such as machining, 3D-control, ultrasonic cleaning and thermal treatment to control the complete target manufacturing process.

Currently, targets made by Acerde are certified by the main actors of the medical imaging field, which allows Acerde to be an active player in European, American and Asian markets.
